  A scientific seminar entitled “The drying of the Aral sea and its impact on the Сentral Asian region” was held at the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.   The seminar addressed key consequences of the Aral Sea desiccation, including dust and salt storms, regional climate change, water scarcity, land degradation, and biodiversity loss, as well as the importance of scientific research for sustainable water resources

   Davlatshoev Salomat Qanoatshoevich has been elected a Full Member (Academician) of the Engineering Academy of Tajikistan, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of science and engineering in the Republic of Tajikistan.      

  A scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan on the topic: “Evaluating the Impact of Climate Change on the Water Resources of Tajikistan: A Case Study of the Varzob River.”   The seminar was presented by a Master’s student of the Kazakh-German University as part of their pre-defense (pre-diploma) internship.                

  A meeting was held between UNICEF representatives in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.   The meeting focused on sustainable access to drinking water, the impact of climate change, the organization of a side event within the framework of the 4th High-Level International Conference on The International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development” 2018–2028, and the contribution of
