Future for water safety

 South Africa (Cape Town) hosted the final conference "Future for water safety" on 15-17 February 2023. (TFWS), organized by the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), Consulting Company on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) and other international organizations. The main objective of the conference: actions on water security and mobilization of coalition and "goal-oriented alliances" to promote TFWS missions ahead of the UN Water Conference 2023 in March and to accelerate implementation.

  The TFWS conference brought together 185 participants from different regions and stakeholder groups. Prof. Pulatov Y.E. represented the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. The results of the TFWS conference have been presented to New York to demonstrate commitment to action on water security priorities and to stimulate high ambition at the UN Water Conference 2023.
