During the ceremony of state awards, Gulakhmadzoda Aminjon Abdudzhabbor, the head of the Scientific, Educational, and Analytical Division of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower, and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, a doctor of technical sciences, was awarded the Ismaili Somoni Award for Young Scientists for his outstanding work in the field of technical and technological sciences.

 In its twenty-year history, this is the first time that an employee of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology has been awarded such a high-level prestigious state award.
