It was a great opportunity for him to begin his early career as a postdoctoral fellow at the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, which is one of CAS's renowned institutes for natural resource studies, ecology, and developing mechanisms to assess environmental change in arid lands. His experience as a PIFI postdoctoral researcher was truly rewarding as he was able to further expand his research skills and knowledge in related research topics by working with distinguished scientists and researchers at the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography.
